Seat at the Table follows several prominent South Asian American political candidates through the turbulent and historic 2024 election cycle, as a once-overlooked community confronts a defining political awakening. Set against the rise of the first South Asian presidential candidate on a major party ticket, the film captures a pivotal moment in American history — one shaped by ambition, identity, sacrifice, and the fight to belong. Within the span of a single century, South Asians in America have gone from disenfranchised outsiders to contenders for the highest office in the nation, forever reshaping what representation — and power — looks like in America.
